Cookie Policy
This page describes the cookies and other tracking tools used by the website https://www.uvelanghe.it/, pursuant to Art. 122 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 and the Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of 10 June 2021 issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali). The data controller is Uve — Rooms & Wine Bar. For general information on the processing of personal data, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies and other tracking tools are
Cookies are small text files that the websites visited save on the user’s device and then read again on subsequent visits. Similar tools, such as the browser’s local storage, tracking pixels and other device identification techniques, are subject to the same rules. They may be installed directly by the website (first party) or by services of other parties (third parties).
2. Categories of cookies used
Technical cookies
These are necessary for the website to function or to provide a service requested by the user, for example navigation, security, storing cookie preferences or the shopping cart. They do not require the user’s consent.
Statistical cookies
These are used to collect information on the use of the website, for example the pages visited and the duration of visits, in order to improve its functioning. They are installed only with the user’s consent.
Protection services provided by third parties
The website uses third-party services to protect forms against automated submissions. These services may collect data about the device and the use of the website and are activated only with the user’s consent.
3. List of cookies used
The up-to-date list of cookies used by the website, with the category, purpose and duration of each, is shown below and is generated by the consent management system, which updates it each time the website is scanned. From the same panel you can review the choices you have made.
4. More information on Google services
The website uses Google Consent Mode: before the user makes a choice, Google services receive the consent status “denied” and do not install analytics or advertising cookies; after the choice, they receive the updated status. In the absence of consent, Google services may receive cookieless technical signals, for example about the device type and the consent status, which Google uses only for aggregate estimates.
Google Analytics 4. According to Google, for users in the European Union the IP address is used only to derive an approximate location and is neither logged nor stored. Users can also prevent the collection of data by Google Analytics by installing the opt-out browser add-on.
Users can manage the personalisation of Google ads from their account settings (My Ad Center). How Google uses information from sites that use its services is explained on the page policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
5. Consent management
On the first visit to the website, a banner is displayed that allows the user to accept all cookies, reject non-technical cookies or choose individual categories; the banner is managed through Cookie-Script. Closing the banner using the “X” is equivalent to rejecting non-technical cookies. The choice is stored and the banner is not shown again, unless there are significant changes to the services used.
Users can change or withdraw the consent given at any time, including for individual categories, from the settings available in the section “List of cookies used”.
6. Managing cookies through the browser
Users can also delete cookies already installed and prevent their installation through their browser settings. Disabling technical cookies may impair the proper functioning of the website.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards indicated in the Privacy Policy.
